Are You Living the Life of Your Dreams?
Kitty J. Boitnott, Ph.D., NBCT
Certified Life Strategies & Stress Management Coach
I am a fan of Oprah Winfrey's and I also follow the work of Deepak Chopra. They have collaborated over the years on a joint mission to help spread an understanding of the benefits of meditation. I am a fretful meditator. It is hard for me to stop doing long enough to just sit still and BE in a 20 minute meditation. I know its benefits...I am just so BUSY!
Having recognized my own deficiencies in this area, I do attempt to meditate on a regular basis because I know it does, in fact, offer true benefits. Research points to the fact that a practice of meditation can lead to slower heart rates, a feeling of being more grounded and at peace, and it helps us as we go through our days.
I am currently participating in the latest meditation series that Oprah and Deepak are promoting. Today is Day 5. As I was getting ready to click on the day's meditation, I noticed an article link entitled, "5 Steps to Living Your Dreams."
As I read the article, I decided that it would be a good thing to share with the readers of my newsletter. Since I can't add to the message, I simply offer the link for you here.
I hope you will take the time to read the article and consider how you can be living the life of your dreams if you aren't already (which I sincerely hope you are). If you are anything less than happy, I urge you to embrace the message offered here.
If you or a friend or family member is looking for a job because they are out of work, between jobs, or underemployed, contact me for information about the “disruptive job search” methodology that is taught atCareerHMO, the “cure for chronic career pain.” I am now working as a career coach with CareerHMO and am looking for people who could benefit from the program and the fantastic resources that are available through CareerHMO and its sister site, Careerealism.
