Create Your Goals for 2021

I don't know about you, but I can't remember a year I was happier to see the end of than this year. Good riddance to 2020. Am I right?

None of us knew last year, this time what 2020 held in store. And, of course, we can't know for certain what 2021 will be like. But we have reason to hope that it might be a little better. We also have reason to hope that next year at this time we can reasonably safely visit our family and friends for the holidays.

Of course, I don't think 2021 is going to be without its challenges. 

But we have reason to hope that things will start to get back to some kind of "normal" sometime next year.

In the meantime, what are you thinking in terms of creating your goals for 2021? What do you want to change about yourself or your life or career in the upcoming year?

This is the time of year when we start to see diet programs and fitness commercials hitting the airwaves trying to get you to [finally] lose that stubborn 20 pounds and get healthy. I don't know about you, but one of my goals for 2021 is to get rid of the "COVID weight" that I put on while in lockdown mode.

In the "old days," this it the time of year that people would be lining up to join the gym. That may not be happening at the same rate this year, but we will still be thinking about ways to get ourselves healthier, I bet.

And then there are our career goals to think about. 

What kind of change do you want to make in your job or career this year? If you lost or quit your job in 2020, you are most certainly hoping for a new job or career in 2021. But will any old job do? Or do you have something special in mind?
