Create Your Goals for 2021

I don't know about you, but I can't remember a year I was happier to see the end of than this year. Good riddance to 2020. Am I right?
None of us knew last year, this time what 2020 held in store. And, of course, we can't know for certain what 2021 will be like. But we have reason to hope that it might be a little better. We also have reason to hope that next year at this time we can reasonably safely visit our family and friends for the holidays.
Of course, I don't think 2021 is going to be without its challenges.
But we have reason to hope that things will start to get back to some kind of "normal" sometime next year.
In the meantime, what are you thinking in terms of creating your goals for 2021? What do you want to change about yourself or your life or career in the upcoming year?
This is the time of year when we start to see diet programs and fitness commercials hitting the airwaves trying to get you to [finally] lose that stubborn 20 pounds and get healthy. I don't know about you, but one of my goals for 2021 is to get rid of the "COVID weight" that I put on while in lockdown mode.
In the "old days," this it the time of year that people would be lining up to join the gym. That may not be happening at the same rate this year, but we will still be thinking about ways to get ourselves healthier, I bet.
And then there are our career goals to think about.
What kind of change do you want to make in your job or career this year? If you lost or quit your job in 2020, you are most certainly hoping for a new job or career in 2021. But will any old job do? Or do you have something special in mind?
This past weekend, I hosted a Masterclass on how to "Jumpstart Your Job Search for 2021: A Step-by-Step Master Plan on How to Transition from the Classroom into the Career of Your Dreams."
I also offered a deeply discounted price for the "Jumpstart Your Job Search for 2021 Program". The prices are going back up to their pre-COVID level on Friday, January 1, 2021.
That means that the sale price will end at midnight on Thursday, December 31st.
If you would like to learn more about the current sale, click here: Jumpstart Your Job Search for 2021.
If you have questions about the program, shoot them my way, and I will do my best to answer them.
And in case you missed it but would like to catch the replay of the Masterclass I offered over the weekend, here is the link you need to take a look: https://event.webinarjam.com/go/replay/25/pr7q4hxxaqnsr7sq. The replay will expire on Thursday, December 31st.
If a new job or career change is one of your goals for 2021, you don't want to miss the Masterclass or the deal I am offering.
The price of the program is discounted 40% off (a $400 saving) the regular pre-pandemic price that will go back to its original price on January 1st.
Whatever is on your goals may be for 2021, I want for you that you see them come to fruition in the new year. The new year is always a time for making plans for new beginnings and fresh starts. If finding a new job or quitting your current job for a career pivot is on your list of goals for 2021, now is the time to get started.
You can't wait until you are ready to suddenly make the pivot, you see. You have to build the foundation for your job search first. If you don't, you'll be disappointed that you don't see the results of your efforts as quickly as you want. The average job search takes four to nine months--and that was before the pandemic hit.
This new year is going to be a challenge for anyone who is job hunting, and you can't afford to tackle it without knowing what you are doing. That's why you need this program sooner rather than later if changing your job or career is on your list of goals for 2021.
Maybe you aren't looking to make a career change but you know someone who is. Please feel free to share this information with them if you like.
My mission is to help demystify the job search process for any teacher or mid-career professional who is ready to take their career in a new direction or a whole new level.
So, here's a toast to 2021! I pray that it will offer brighter and happier days than some of those we have seen in 2020. May it bring you health, wealth, and abundance of every sort.
Until next time.
