What Are YOUR Goals?
Kitty J. Boitnott, Ph.D., NBCT, RScP
Certified Life Strategies & Stress Management Coach
I am excited about having met a couple of important milestones in my business which I started two years ago this month. I have just completed the requirements for membership in the National Speakers Association which means I am now a "professional" speaker as opposed to a "public" speaker. What's the difference? The "professional" speaker gets paid. That is a distinction I learned from Lenora Billings-Harris who is a leader in NSA.
I am also on the verge of getting my e-book up on Kindle and ready to send it to all of my subscribers as a free gift. Stay tuned for that. It is going to be out one way or the other by the end of this month.
Meeting these milestones made me think about goals and how sometimes it takes longer to meet a goal than we might like, but it takes the time it takes. The main thing is to not get discouraged...to stay focused and work at it for as long as it takes to be successful.
My video message about these celebrations can be found here. Enjoy.
If you are having trouble meeting your own goals, let me know. Perhaps we can work together to get you back on track...or to get you started if you haven't begun yet. Sometimes it is helpful to have someone to turn to. I know I wouldn't be completing my two goals if I hadn't had coaches and mentors along the way.
